As the rest of their domestic rivals return to action in Ligue 1 this weekend, PSG are gearing up to take on European powerhouse Bayern Munich in the Champions League final.

After surviving a major scare in the quarters against Atalanta, Paris Saint Germain’s star-studded squad made light work of a previously impressive Leipzig side in the semis last time out, and will now fancy their chances of getting their hands on the continent’s most prized trophy on Sunday night.

This could all have been very different but for PSG’s epic last-minute comeback against Atalanta. That game will have sent confidence through the roof and could well be their watershed moment on the way to getting their hands on the UEFA Champions League for the first time.
